Excitement and Anxiety are two sides of the same coin.
Excitement is what happens when you are feeling "on top of things." Anxiety is what happens when things are "on top of you."
If you pay close attention, you will realise that both feel the same. Or, biologically, trigger the same feelings: the feeling of heart racing and not able to think straight. It's just that, one has a positive connotation to it and the other has a negative one.
One sets you free and makes space for bliss. The other imprisons you and makes space for misery. Both are the two sides of the same coin. If one feels more "normal", the other feels like visiting the "upside-down" from Stranger Things.
So what's left really? To do. The only thing in your hand: your actions. So that you can be in command of your life and make space for bliss, peace, love.
If anxiety and excitement are two ends of a seesaw, then the work/struggle/pain to keep the balance between these sides (mostly with an inclination towards excitement) is where life happens. Leaving the struggle is to leave life itself.
